Information Collection

If you are using this web site to open an account with LP Police, we collect the information requested on our account application form, including contact information and financial information (such as credit card number or billing information). This information is used for internal purposes, such as account establishment, billing, fulfillment of orders and customer service. We will also request credentialing material from entities or individuals seeking to use LP Police services and search features in order to verify their eligibility to access such services and information. This credentialing process is discussed in greater detail in the LP Police User Agreement, which new users must complete before they begin the approval and credentialing process.

How We Use Your Personal Information

When your personal information is collected on LP Polices publicly accessible web site, LP Police will inform you at the point of collection of the purpose for the collection. LP Police will use your personal information only in the way we specify when it is collected unless you consent to a different use.

For example, LP Police may use personal information submitted in an account application to set up and maintain your account. LP Police also may use the personal information you provide to answer your questions and inquiries, to support LP Polices own recruitment activities in response to your inquiries into LP Polices job postings, and to provide newsletters and other information (if any) that you have requested.

LP Police will not transfer the information it has collected unless the recipient agrees to provide privacy protections equal to or exceeding those established by this Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Tracking Technology

LP Polices web site may use the standard technology called a “cookie” to collect information about how you use the web site. A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your hard drive and used for record-keeping purposes.
